What is the projected monetary return on investment?
- What is the projected cost? Over what period of time?
- What is the expected return?
How will the expected results contribute to long-term profitable growth?
- Will systems of engagement produce more effective marketing and sales? How?
- Will systems of records produce more efficient operations? How?
How will sustainable operational leverage be created?
- Will deep tech, intellectual property, or systems of intelligence (using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other technologies to analyze data and provide insights to help organizations make decisions) be developed? How?
- Will processes be re-imagined? How?
- Will culture be re-established? How?
And the most important question of them all…
If we aren’t providing a return, contributing to long-term profitable growth, by creating sustainable operational leverage… why is this project worth the time and effort? Is it a learning exercise? Training? Practice? To make the boss happy?
Are all stakeholders aware of this answer? Have they all signed off?
